Theodore Marcus 'Teddy' Edwards was an American jazz tenor saxophonist composer, arranger, and lyricist (April 26, 1924 – April 20, 2003)

He was one of the crown jewels of Los Angeles' Central Avenue jazz scene of the 1940s. 'His immediately recognizable sound puts him in a league of his own'.
